The Dash
On 8 November 2009 our beautiful 17 year old son, stepson and half brother Kyle James Newsome died tragically and unexpectedly. At his funeral, a beautiful poem called The Dash by Linda Ellis was read which resonated profoundly with us. Although we had already planned to set off on our 12 month trip, Kyle's death reinforced to us that life is for living and any hesitations we may have harboured about money and risk just evaporated. This is a new chapter in Our Dash.
